I just think hes afraid of losing his audience, and adjusting his strategy accordingly.
When he makes false claims e.g "how looks don't matter for dating" - people caught that and he had to change strategies to induce small black pills to make it more believable.
revised version: "Yes looks do matter, but good personality outshines good looks". makes his statement harder to detect as false, as he confirmed the black pill existence and still had his angle with good personality.
