I have lived a large portion of my life in danger. It changes your perspective.
Now that I can relax and I feel safe, everything is like I can finally live.
No, I’ll probably never get a girlfriend.
But after half my life facing death, it feels wonderful just to have coffee.
It feels like I’m in heaven to be able to do everyday things that people take for granted.
Most people just don’t know how fortunate they are.
We get too focused on what we don’t have and are not thankful for what we do have.
