Look I can understand why you were criticizing another user for not trying ever, but this isn't the same thing. Even if you're average looking cold approaching just doesn't work at all, OP would be better off trying something which actually has a reasonable chance of working.

Having a successful social life is not something easy to do. It is for some people, but they have no idea how they do it, it comes naturally to them. Just like with their romantic life.

But we had none whatsoever decades ago. It's possibly a starting trend.

Also when you start PUA tout have to do trial and error and that means you have to try really stupid shit. Now that jail sentences are a real possibility, even if it's a tiny one, it's a scary perspective. That just makes an humiliating activity not just humiliating but terrifying.
