We have around ~400 yrs still left with coal if we're using it at this rate, barely 50 with oil and gas though so you're right. Although I will say that they keep finding new oil and gas deposits, they've been telling us since the 1950s that oil is going to run out in 40 years. Logically speaking though we will eventually run dry they can't keep finding new deposits forever even if their estimation of 50 years is inaccurate now.

I think best thing to do is solarpanelmaxxing in the Sahara and dam-maxxing(Hydro) in flood countries like China, India to prevent rising sea levels. The problem comes when you're asked about how you're going to transport these electricity productions to other countries.

The West could economically invest heavily in solarpanelmaxxing in Southern Europe. We have sunny days all year round and we waste it, because we have a terrible government.

Population control needs to be done there so they don't flood into developed countries when birth control could have regulated it prevented it anyways. Population of Nigeria was 45 million in 1960 and heading towards 700 million by 2100 JFL, to put that into more perspective the UK's population population was 52 million in 1960 (More than Nigeria) but projected towards 70 million by 2100. Something needs to be done about Africa since it's scary how much resources the world can save if millions of unnecessary births are prevented.
