I don't think castration would eliminate all sexual desire. I've considered it in the past. It basically makes you horny, but impotent - as I understand it.

Testes produce testosterone, but so does the pituitary gland (in your brain). I have small testicles, which apparently makes my testosterone production low, but I'm still really horny. Apparently when it comes to testosterone and sexual desire a little dab will do you.
