My local gym is having an opening for a boxing class and I was wondering if I should join to both lose weight and tone my body and maybe harness an inner skill that I didn't know. I know all the few basic fundamentals and archaic techniques. Brocels that tried it and saw results how was it?
 
I actually started boxing recently. It's a great cardio workout and I get to work my arms enough that lifting on the same day as a class is tiring. I started eating right and lifting, but boxing really helps me shed a lot of fat. I must burn at least 300 calories in a session, but I don't even notice it when compared to running.
 
Gonna try to find one this week
 
It's a great frustration/stress reliver. It also trains the muscles that do matter in a fight and burns lots of calories.
