Not even close. The site is becoming more popular, sure, but it's well off being mainstream. The average person thinks that 4chan is some obscure, dangerous site. They likely wouldn't even know about .is and wouldn't go near it if they did. The site is simply too abrasive for most normies to browse, let alone join.
