What are your views on this point?

Me
But it gets to a point where it gets to hard ( with Wittgestein I had to watch many videos because I didn't get the tractatus) and it leads nowhere.
Imo with Nietzsche you have most you need.

I am a wanna-be philosophist but too dumb to read actual books

Cool.I'm still a newbie.

1. Pick a list like this

2. Understand better the book you are reading watching lectures on youtube

3. For the really hard parts you don't understand use some AI like Chatgpt to explain it to you like you are five.

Like to read philosophy.

I am sure you can guess my evolian/Nietzschean inclination from my pfp.

You want to know any concrete philosophy branch? Or just knowledge of general history? Also don't rely on this shit list above

Plato and Jung are worth a study. Unfortunately I feel that Nietchze was just an insane man that wrote his rambling down and called it philosophy.

As a professional philosopher I'm am guaranteed a good living asking questions that can not ever be answered.

"In fact! I demand ridgedly defined areas of doubt and uncertainty!"

You could say, I'm on the gravy train for life!

I would like to know the general history, but with more depth.

Then I would recommend such pathway: Plato (you don't need to know sophists well) > aristotle (mainly his organon) > Saint Augustine > scholastics, preferable Aquinas with his summa > british empiricism (Bacon, Hobbes, Locke, Hume) > outside of epistemology political writings of the time, Grotius to Hobbes to Locke (to Rousseau, but he was later than previous ones) > rationalism, Descartes and Leibniz (maybe also Wolff if you're interested in full system) > Spinoza > german idealism, all of great thinkers of it > marx, but you can read second lectures on diamat since it's retarded misunderstanding of previous school of philosophy. European philosophy generally ends with marx's interpretators, so lenin, frankfurt school et cetera, but they're based on marx's fraud so I wouldn't reccomend them. There're also minor schisms of schools I mentioned, like neoplatonics, but you should know them by other great systems, for example neoaristotleans are basically scholastics.

Thanks.
I'm reading Bacon and Locke now, then I'll go read the Germans.

:feelsokman: in german post Wolff-Liebniz idealism start with Kant critique of pure reason (same I recomended to @pedrolopezwasright), not prolegomena. His works on practical reason are summed up in end of CPR, but if you really want you can read his metaphysics of ethics. But they're just a minor offspring of his thought; the reverse situation is in Fichte (of which you can read just Vocation of Man), where practical reason and faith in it is the basis of his system.
