Ye bro I did shop class in school and lathes were my favourite tool besides the oxyacetylene torches and the forge. U can make a lot of cool shit. Like pens, cups, chess pieces, etc. also very satisfying when you make clean cuts

Too bad I don't have space for tools like that in my apt.
