My lower jaw is recessed but non of my family members are recessed in this area. I've never been a mouth breather which pisses me off even more, my sister actually was one growing up because she had fucked up sinuses but she isn't recessed.

Mostly, genetics determines your blueprint and maximum potential for your bone structure.

From when you are a baby to finishing puberty, your diet accounts for the vast majority of your structure, along with sleep. After you finish growing, you bones have fully developed.

I'd say it's definitely more genetics than not though, for sure.

It's not always genetics but its highly because of bone structure. Mainly your maxilla and mandible.

When growing up parents often feed their children goyslop for them to swallow their food probably but it decreases the movements of jaw muscles significantly and affects bone growth.

No. My brother and sister both are pretty forwardly grown including my dad and mother.

I unfortunately dropped out of school just before I hit puberty, and was left to rot all day in my room. I would always lay on my stomach and rest on my chin whilst watching YouTube and rotting all day. I still despise my dad for never forcing me to get up and do something. Instead, this nigger didn’t give a shit and allowed me to stay at home all day whilst I recessed by the second.

I was never meant to be this recessed as I currently am ffs. Even as a kid I was decently forward grown too.

Mouth breathing most of the times comes from having allergies or just having a clogged nose all the time, which is genetic
