Let me tell you from my experience. Foreigners don't even want to work here anymore.
They either try to get GIBSMEDAT from the government, which I understand, or they do some illegal stuff, which I also understand.
Only the absolute braindead among them work honestly and work themselves to death.
Rent alone is so expensive that the minimum wage barely pays the bills. You can't save any money that way.
There is no opportunity here for them. They are hopping from one poverty into another. That is all. They are being taken advantage of, because they barely speak German or none at all and most don't know their rights either.
I've worked at such an exploitative company for a very short time and it was full of exactly those types of foreigners.
I empathize with them because they are being exploited, man. They will never get out of it. It is a scam.
This is not the land of honey and milk. Richfags are making sure that neither them nor I will get a piece of the pie, much like all these boomers currently guarding their comfy positions and sabotaging young workers so they won't take away their jobs.
I have witnessed it countless times and it has happened to me too.

Dude, exactly my saying. I don't even hate them for coming here to work. But they are being lured here with copium and hopium, man.
We do have unions and works committees as well in most companies, BUUT those are neither supporting the workers nor are they at least neutral.
They are mostly bought and you can tell by the decisions they make.
I remember the works committee of my second last workplace. Everybody in the company knew that they were paid off.
Organizing was impossible in that company and in my last company it was even worse because instead of sticking together against the exploitative boss, they were eating away at each other.
Typical short sighted normgroid behaviour.
So, I hope you understand that I too don't think "shitskins vs cumskins".
The problem is that most people are too short sighted to see that richfags are taking advantage of the infighting.
We have a saying in Germany which goes something like this "If two parties are fighting a third party is benefitting from that fight." . That is happening in the workplace everywhere in Germany.
Also, Germany and the UK are not good places to go to anymore, for foreigners. Even the Polaks, known to be hard and smart workers, are more and more refusing to move to Germany for work because they are actually getting paid better in Poland these days.
Same goes for Ukrainians.
I have met some Ukrainians in the past few months and they all agree that Germany is a shithole slave colony, which is technologically far behind Ukraine.
The pay, in their opinion is shit. If it wasn't for the war they'd get the hell out of here.
They hate it here and I don't blame them.
Then why am I not leaving if it sucks so much?
Well, that is my home still. My roots are here despite all the shit I went through here.
