Most people with mental illness have an average IQ, but people with low IQs are more prone to mental illness, as research shows. My suggestion that incels have lower IQs on average comes not only because mental illness is common among them, but also because many of them are uneducated and NEETs or blue-collar workers, which is also correlated with lower IQs on average. I can't confirm my hypothesis because there haven’t been any large-scale studies on the average IQ of incels, but I think there's a good chance I'm right.
You should know how averages work then. I have clearly stated that there are exceptions, as there are many incels who are highly intelligent.
Just because one person in a group has a high IQ doesn't mean the overall average of the group is high. Ironically not understanding averages and thinking that the exception disproves the rule is a sign of low IQ
I still don't get your point with the NEET/Unemployed hypothesis. ADHD and Autism are two conditions that are associated with NEETdom and unemployment and also with IQ ranging from average to higher than average.

There are various reasons why people become NEETs, but many do so out of necessity because their limited cognitive abilities prevent them from attaining higher education.
Most NEETs have an average IQ, but people with a low IQ are more likely to become NEETs. The link between low IQ and incels is not clear cut, and I admit that I probably went too far in insinuating that my hypothesis that incels on average have a low IQ is a fact, but based on the evidence it is very unlikely that incels are above average on average as some people on here like to believe, and are most likely low-average IQ in general.

People with IQs in the high 70s or 80s are not, as is often assumed, drooling retards. Technically, they are not disabled and can function independently. Their problem is that they are very slow and have difficulty learning, which limits them to very simple and repetitive vocations. They are self-aware and know they are stupid most of the time, which they hate and wish they were smarter. It’s not surprising at all that a lot of them feel isolated and insecure which leads to depression and other mental issues.

If you view the brain as a machine, then one that has a higher horse power and that's also well-oiled and maintained will also be more efficient (not always, but usually). This would make sense and track with the idea of higher IQ -> less mental problems, because if you had those problems, it would mean that you're brain simply isn't as efficient, like a V12 engine with clogged pistons or rusted parts.
I'd say that this mostly applies to actually mentally disabled ones (I think I've written about my cousin who's like that a few times here and how I sometimes envy him.) I don't think that's something merely lower-IQ people can enjoy

I admitted that there are many intelligent and educated incels, but overall it seems that most incels on here don’t fall into that category. Most Incels that become successful end up betabuxxing and don’t feel the need to identify as incel.

It's not concrete or anything, but would it really be unreasonable to speculate that incels have worse cognitive abilities on average? I think you’re coping. Do you not know how these studies work? If you test the IQs of the general population to find patterns, the majority of participants will always be in the average IQ range. Logical, no? You can't just severely over-represent participants with low IQs and those with high IQs that would defeat then point of the study. And just because most participants have an average IQ doesn't mean you can't compare and contrast the mental status of high and low IQ participants. I don't understand why you assume that small sample sizes are invalid in the context of this study.
People with a high IQ are very likely to be successful and lead a stable life. There are numerous studies that prove this. Sure, they may have reasons to kill themselves, but they usually have a lot more to live for than low IQ people who often end up with unstable lives filled to the brim with failure. Also, dumb people rope all the time, often impulsively to avoid facing consequences they know they can’t handle

I remember seeing somewhere that men with more testosterone also had less iq. And we know that testosterone is great for having high bone mass etc. So high testosterone means good looks but also probably low iq. And I guess most of us here don't have much testosterone, so we might have more iq.
Even if that was the case (negative correlation between testosterone and IQ), there are other, stronger correlations between unemployment, mental illness, and diminutive height with IQ (correlation between height and IQ is 0.22) that most incels load heavily on relative to the general population
