NVM, mofos meant the impact of the adoptive parents' IQ specifically, and not the adoptive parents' care, attention, income, assets, location, choice of school, etc. doesn't have an impact on the adopted child's IQ. which makes sense

I’m pretty mentally disabled. I can say with certainty that 99% of this forum is smarter than me. I actually want to get my IQ tested (not online, those are bullshit tests)

This has been known for quite some time. The only variability is through things like early childhood nutrition and care, where it's a matter of your upbringing affecting your ability to maximize your genetic potential.

There are things you can supposedly do to increase your IQ by about 5 points, like strict diet and exercise, stress reducing activities, and "brain training" (e.g. memory tasks), but the science on those things is not definitive or conclusive (that I'm aware of).

As for your personality, that is indeed something you can alter over time, but it is very difficult and does take years.
