It's such fucking bullshit. A job interview is NOT a test of how proficient, knowledgeable, or experienced you are --- it's an extroversion/people-skills test. I have seen so many less experienced people (females more often than not) get hired above me because they have exuberant personalities and ask hundreds of questions.
I fail over and over again at interviews, despite seeking advice. I can certainly answer any technical/scientific questions, but I can't maintain fucking eye contact (though I have learned to smile). My answers tend to be robotic and monotone and I don't ask enough questions (I get it, interviewers like it when you ask questions, why the fuck do normie employers associate with interest in the job with asking several, pointless questions???). Also, during pre-COVID in-person interviews, I tend to fucking sweat!
It's no surprise that many incels underperform in their careers --- if you do well on dates, you do well on interviews
