I hear this all the time. "Innocent women and children are being killed" and yet no one mentions the innocent men. Is it just people unintentionally confirming that men lives are less valuable than women's? Or is it just assumed that all men are considered able to fight and no men are innocent; while women are considered unable to fight and need to be protected?

Good point. A shame that literally no one online points this out or notices it. I see even white supremacists who claim to hate women say "muh, women and children are dying" but leave out the part of innocent men that die, implying we have no value.
