Indians mog the Persians, the Chinese and many others when it comes to architecture, yet for some reason their masterpieces are not talked about as much as those of these other peoples.

I love how they prioritise structural beauty over ornamentation in their works. There’s nothing wrong with using colours, paintings, calligraphy, etc. to elevate a building of course, but I believe that buildings carved from stone possess a beauty and grandeur of their own.

Ancient Greece vs Modern Greece
Ancient Rome vs Modern Italy

No one stays at the top forever.

So was Babylon and Egypt. Look at what they are now. Meanwhile Germanics were ldaring in swamps and huts mere two thousand years ago, and yet now they rule the world (although it's coming to an end now, and the future is practically brown). Nothing in history is permanent.
