India took football and cricket equally seriously.

Unfortunately they won the cricket world cup in 1983. From that day forward they disregarded football. All the money and fan support, energy was put into cricket. Nobody wants to be a footballer.

If india won the football world cup there would be so many indian men in football all around the world wanting to be the best aspiring to become footballers. They would probably be on par with black guys. The west cares about football. Indian should care about football.
