Notice how it didn't get banned, only locked. Why? It's simple. The point of inceltears is to take the most offensive content and use it against incels. When incels go mainstream, they now have an archive of offensive posts that can be used to paint incels as evil.

Think about sports, you have tons of high school players. Those are the equivalent to the posts made on this forum.

Then you have college sports, which selects high school players through recruitment. The posts that end up on IT are the equivalent.

Then you have pro sports, which select the college players in a draft. The posts that are used by the media are the equivalent.

Essentially, IncelTears is just a "filter" of the controversial and/or offensive stuff from the actual stuff that is the truth of the blackpill. Then the media can use the cherrypicked posts from IncelTears and have a much quicker way to find a post to villify incels.

He destroyed every post and locked the subreddit, claiming that IncelTears had become a shit board, beholden to the whims of BrazilianSigma. And people agreed with him.

So they tried to create an offshoot of IncelTears that was less beholden to BrazilianSigma, and more in line with their original views. r/IdiotTears. And the faithful to BrazilianSigma created their own offshoot, r/IncelTear. And some rambunctious incels created their own parody, r/LncelTears, but with a lower case L.
