Usually I just listen to normnigger music describing normie stuff like chad worship or stacy worship but sometimes I'm just not in the mood to ignore the lyrics.
It's music from a different universe and the lyrics describe something that was denied to me.

This is probably a very boomer-ish question, but why are pretty much all musical genres called "something-core" nowadays?

Back in the day, the "-core" suffix would mean akin to "hardcore", which was basically all songs that had fast-paced drum beats like this:

And usually distorted guitars, power chords, etc. Thus, emocore, metalcore, and many others.

But what zoomers call "-core" nowadays doesn't seem to correspond to that....
