Cucktears responded to my post challenging them and now is the time for a third member, who will volunteer.
LMAO it was so bad, it's what I'm about to address.IceCat's rebuttal by the way was: "he SHOULD pay attention to those outliers, they are proof against what he believes. How did they manage to do it? He should research, probably the man was able to befriend his gf in a caring manner over a long period of time. Many couples (where the man is not conventionally attractive) I know started this way."
But this is a bad argument. Outliers, by definition, are unusual. They are not representative of the typical case, so pointing to them as "proof" ignores the overall pattern of the data. You do not disprove a rule by citing rare exceptions. The people over on IT are so goddamn stupid.
But you explain it better so I will credit you in the podcast episode.IceCat's rebuttal by the way was: "he SHOULD pay attention to those outliers, they are proof against what he believes.
