90% false. Except for physical education, drawing, singing, ... I was good at school. Languages I was mid-tier, but not bad (B-C grades). Maths I was clearly the best of my age group (3 classes) in school, Latin I also was best in class. Maths is actually the best compliment I ever got from a teacher. We were learning something and apparently others had more problems than me and she told the others to not compare themselves against me because ... I cannot translate it, but essentially because maths was "too easy" for me. Other subjects I was good (typically A, rarely B) but not best in class.
