My grade school teacher almost ruined my life. I guess it could still be called bullying but it was on a different level.
Right after I took the entrance exam, she made a phone call to my parents, telling them they should pack up and leave the city because I wasn't doing well enough in class to get into a decent local school (there was a limited quota for those who were not locals). That was complete bullshit because despite attending her shitty school I was literally the top 1 of the entire year.
A few days later, my parents got a phone call from the best school in the area and were told that I was admitted. On the other hand, the bitch's favorite local kids all did poorly and went to mediocre schools.
She knew I wasn't born in that area because my parents both spoke Chinese with a heavy southern accent. Also verbally abused me and other non-local kids constantly because she felt privileged for being born in the capital city (she was a teenager during the cultural revolution and a worshipper of Mao. I wouldn't be surprised if she was using the same tactics for abusing intellectuals back in her days to abuse kids). I don't know how well she's doing today. I heard she fell over while walking maybe a couple of years ago. I hope she never managed to get up from the hospital bed since then.

Definitely relate, around half of my teachers singled me out. One time, the class bully attacked me and started shoving me around and the gmy teacher just laughed and let him continue until I ran away back to the changing room. Got in trouble for skipping class.

Happened to me as well, twice, once when I was 13 (history), the other when I was 16(maths). They talked about I'd never succeed in life and both "indirectly" said I was ugly.

Most of my teachers were usually dismissive with me however my 3rd grade teacher strongly disliked me. Talked a lot shit behind my back and even attempted to get me held back a year in school by falsifying my end year exams
