Agrarian civilisation by definition works on male labour, female labour processes the produce and does minor value addition but the bulk of the labour is done by males, rapine agrarian societies like Ancient Rome and steppe hordes had more active political participation of women than a typical agrarian society ever had

Weren't the PIE and derived civilizations more patriarchal than the EEF? My understanding is that the PIE were hyper-patriarchal compared to the egalitarian ANF & EEF (egalitarianism can basically be understood as matriarchy anyway, since any society that puts men and women on equal footing will ultimately be a gynocracy thanks to men's simping)

Imo these are mostly European feministic propaganda, none of the agrarian societies are more or less patriarchal, it's just the masculine chad Aryans conquering peace loving egalitarian European Union Ursula van der leyen lead bronze age Europe larp by some uni anthropologists. Hordes and Rapine agrarian states work in just a different economic model that requires more mingling of women in daily societal labour activities than say a typical agrarian society that avails a bit less harsh treatment and societal acceptance for women but that still not comparable to anything an industrial and post industrial society had provided to foids. Albeit I think a post industrial society is a nightmare and still has not been achieved and it'll destroy foids as we know them.
