Jokes on you, my family stopped the whole "i love you" as soon as I started doing badly in school / inevitably deciding to opt out of college and just go straight into the workforce (already was technically) but just more hours / non-stop. My mother fucking resented the shit outta me and gaslighted me for years, alongside my cunt of a sister. Now that my mother is dead, I no longer have to stay in contact with family. It's such a fucking burden.
Anyways, you're right. If not even your family cares enough about you.. in the end, why think some random foid will? Probably with society, everyone lives in constant fairytale land where either the "princess" or "prince charming" will sweep them off their feet, when in all actuality, that shit is fucking bullshit... more-so for men it is.
