it expresses differently for me, i tend to play the weird or underplayed characters in fighting games, regardless of their looks

for instance Alex looks like a chad in street fighter 3, but he is a relatively weak and hard character to use and win consistently, so i play as him a lot, i also like the complete total weirdos like Twelve who are both bad and extremely weird looking

Nah, I prefer playing with Yoshi, Bowser or even his son but none of Waluigi, Wario or the princesses. It reminds me of a good time I had playing Mario Soccer on Gamecube with my older brother.
