Think about it. Our lives are miserable, and these video games and other substances are all we really have left, so it makes sense why we cling to the old past and even older future. We only have our sweet memories before we eventually rope, mine as-well spend them doing something "fun" right?

hate your avi

I never replay games tbh.
I'd rather play something new since there is an overabundance of games, maybe I should replay some of my childhood favorites but that would probably just be depressing because you realize they aren't actually as good as you remember them.

I do install resident evil 4. Every once in a while and end up playing the whole campaign while telling myself its only for hour or 2

Yeah, that happened to me with a lot of early to mid 2000's games. I thought they were the shit, but it just changes your mind once you replay it.

I often play on hard mode for my first playthough.

Relatable.

I used to get this way with sports games back in the day. Now sports games suck, so I just try playing every game I can

NEVER ROPE! IF you do, the WORLD/NORMIES win!

i Dont see that as a bad 'tang personally. i Relish in the Sanctity of which is Being Played by me Hands. What sticks around, is what Comes around!! So will.. i

I rarely replay story games—only exceptions were DBH, RDR2, and GTAV.

I always replay: Spider-Man 2 (2004 - PS2), Marvel Ultimate Alliance (2006), X-Men Legends & the OG PS1 Spyro trilogy. Newer games are fucking gay and made for faggots.

Theres an overabundance of games but most of them aren’t good

Play old shit. You can play almost any game from any time period for free whenever you want as long as you have an internet connection and a PC

incel trait: you read about video games, watch vidya-related content on youtube, buy consoles and PC components, but you don't even play vidya and you don't enjoy it

Ya I dunno why it’s hard for me to get into new stuff. Even movies

They say variety is spice of life though but it’s hard finding new stuff to enjoy for me sometimes

I mostly just play shooters Im ngl
Been playing stalker alot lately

reccomend anything you like and I could look into it
We probably have different tastes then, I barely play shooters. I liked Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal but you probably already know about those.
I mostly play RPGs and platformers/scmups and other single play action games like that. I played this game called Kill Knight recently, it was pretty good if you like twin stick games.

Kill knight kind of reminds me of this game I played awhile ago called ruiner atleast from the short video I watched
that game Was pretty good but I dont normally play games like that I wouldn’t be against it either though
I never really liked platformers What rpgs do you like??

Once I get my pc Set Up sometime This Week Im going to try and start playing different types of games so I can expand my coping further then I already do now

Hmm, well for RPGs I like the old Black Isle Studios games like Baldur's Gate 1+2 and Plansescape: Torment if you play one of these I recommend starting with Planescape: Torment (I recommend looking up a guide on how to build your character for this game too, I don't usually say this but this game is basically pointless to play if you don't build your character an extremely specific way, since the game is super story focused and you need certain stats to unlock key dialogue options, I think it's a mix of intelligence wisdom and charisma but I don't remember exactly) I also like a lot of JRPGs like Final Fantasy and Dragons Quest but that's partly due to nostalgia and not to them being amazing games, I like Atlas games like the Shin Megami Tensei franchise.
For action games I like all of the classics like Mario, Sonic, Donkey Kong Country, Ninja Gaiden, Contra... really too much to name on here, retro gaming is a huge rabbit hole to do down, too much to name on here.
I haven't played the new Baldur's Gate to give an opinion on it or not, I plan to play it when I get some free time, not the kind of game I like playing one hour here one hour there.

I’m not much of a video gamer, but I rewatch the same tv shows
