Once i cottoned on that asking people for help usually led to either

- being backstabbed,
- later blamed for something,
- just making a situation worse instead…

I learned very early on to minimise asking anyone for anything (other than close family who actually do care about me.)

Acording to the incle internets that is common. from amalgamation of observations;'

theyed only scoff at you and blame you. especially if they see your parents neglecting you, its your fault, clearly . Then theyed bully you for it and not attack your parents . The teachers too and all the adults that come into contact and can clearly observe.

-told you need beatings
-verbally abused by both teachers and students in school
-shunned by the neighbourhood and society
-bullied by adults in public while a minor
-exposed to abusive familiy members as minor and adult
-treated with contempt in the workforce and bullied
-embarassed for not measuring up in society despite being put at a disadvantage
