Have been doing this since I was like 12 lol.

Usually I watch Youtube but to make a quiet room less lonely TVs are perfect.

I put turn the TV on before going to sleep to feel like there's someone sleeping next to me.

Doesnt everyone do this? I put on asmr on my tv whenever i am looking at my phone since its noise but not distracting

I never have the tv on. Fuck that. I have youtube and spotify.

Wouldn't suprise me since there are some people here who jerk off to incest sister femdom
If people can jack off to a foids discharge filled bloody panties, they will definitely jack off to incest sister porn.

What kind of ASMR?
Mostly just tapping or massage videos, like that asmr anil cakmak guy since all his videos have similar noise, so its not distracting. I dont listen to that talking shit, it just annoys me. I have to listen to sounds to help me sleep better, asmr when its no talking and just sounds is what i like

I don't have TV in my room, only parents do but I may buy one for watching animes on big screen tbh

I do put things on for background noise even if it’s not a tv

I do this with youtube

Also never power down my PC, the sound of the fan spinning makes it less lonely

I leave the tv on in the background in my room when I sleep because I hate pitch black darkness. I suffer from sleep paralysis too, so I like some background noise to calm me down when Im having a mental breakdown at night.

I always have some sound playing to cope with the loneliness. Probably not good for my hearing, though.

Same.

If you aren't going over 50% of power of headphones, then you have no reason to fear damaging your hearing. I have tinnitus and I easily rack 100 - 133 hours on music, with equal time racked on podcasts too. 260 - 270 hours per year just listening to stuff on Spotify, and easily spend over 600 hours on YouTube per year. I have no hearing problems, other than tinnitus; which is the reason I consume this amount of content with sound.

Besides it is scientifically proven with damage limits for hearing in dB. There is no time limit for headphones at half power or below.

Truecel trait: You have no TV.

I already have tinnitus. Have been listening to music regularly on headphones since I was 14, I bet my hearing is poor at this point lol. I’m 28 now.

I'm 25, used headphones since 14 or 15, and my hearing is sharp af. I can't stand to loud noises for long though (75 dB+ for more than 15 minutes? I need earplugs to dampen the damn noise).

You can get your hearing checked with the pretense of "tinnitus damage" or something close, they most likely will correct you or give other options. Not sure about the price though, can differ wildly, without a lot to show for the quality of the test itself, depending where you get checked and under what pretense.

I sleep with my TV on bc I can't nap peacefully without some sort of motion/light going on around me, I'm scared of motionless darkness.

electronic devices would distract me, i already have enough hum without them

Sounds like an NT trait tbh @The Abyss

used to but meditation cured it

I thought I was the only one that did this tbh lol. I'm trying to stop as it wastes electricity and racks up my bills.

I have always done this to be honest. I can't be in a silent room, usually it's YouTube though.

I used to do this when I was younger, but not anymore.

Never do that, it's a waste of electricity too.

My family does that a lot, normie trait tbh.
