Venting Incel trait: You get honked at a lot when you drive

Drivers are always honking at me when I drive. Sometimes it's not even my fault, they're just angry and impatient or they're the ones who are driving incorrectly. I'm not the best driver in the world so sometimes it's my fault I guess.

I'm kind of surprised how fast people are to honk their horn. It's like their hands are already on the horn at all times while driving. My hands aren't really close to the horn when I'm driving, they're at the 10 and 2 position like I was taught.

As if driving isn't already stressful enough and hard enough for us non-NT people. I hate driving even though I've had my license for over 20 years. I haven't driven that much though in my life. My current car is 4 years old and only has 10,000 miles on it lol. Partly because I'm kind of scared to drive, afraid of having an accident, I get honked at by angry impatient people, etc.

Not true. I'm not a perfect driver (unlike everyone else on the Internet). I've been driving over 20 years and never had an accident (yet), never got a ticket. Like I said, sometimes it's their fault, being impatient, driving the wrong way, etc. But I can think of one time where I was messing with my phone and deserved it, kek.

I've never once honked my horn, I don't get why some people are quick to do so. I don't live in a very busy area, so I rarely get honked at.

Last time I remember was when some retard drove over a roundabout after I had entered (he was essentially treating it as an intersection) before breaking and honking at me.

I am not without protection either. I have been driving cars crash free for almost 20 years now.

I barely even have been fined for infractions.

I have only ever managed to run over a rat and only because the stupid thing decided to do a 180 in the last moment and run back. lol

Driving is really one of those things that I dont think everyone should have access to, yet it's importance cannot be overstated, being able to go to work in a vehicle that you control, and not having to rely on other things such as public transport can really make people choose the car option more


If america wasn't so car based, then maybe public transport wouldn't be so bad/lacking and then people who would have been bad drivers, could just take it.
