I used to cope with perfume. It was short daily moments of sensual delight but overall pretty sad. A bit like porn watching. And I spent a lot of money, but only ever wore the scents for myself.

I use deodorant because I don't want to smell but I HATE most fragrances so I buy fragrance-free (or rather having very little or a neutral fragrance) soaps, deodorants, shower gels etc.
I don't mind a nice natural smell (e. g. I have a moisturizer with nice rosy fragrance) but most perfumes trigger me so much, I think I'm sensitive to the smell of alcohol or something
I used to apply diluted grapefruit essential oil on my clothes and body because I've read a study saying people who smelled like grapefruits were ranked as younger-looking but it might have been a shitty small study, I don't remember
some foid perfumes have reasonable smells: citrusy or flowery but even they trigger me bc alcohol or something

Do you need perfume if you don’t go outside?

I only use deodorant because the smell of sweat is nasty. I need to find myself a cologne for daily use though because smelling nice is good.

Perfume is useless, but if you're not a NEET you do need deodorant. Even as a NEET, if you live with your parents wearing deoderant can make them less likely to react negatively to your presence and thereby less likely to bother you with get your life together dialog
