I have brutal memories of my trauma burned into my brain, and there is alot.

As time to continues to go on my short term memory gets collectively worse.

My long term memory is crazy good, better than that of pretty much anyone I know, but short term i have to check whether I've locked the door, turned off the stove, turned off the bathroom boiler etc. and even after I check sometimes I check multiple times in a row. I think it's because I got yelled at over minor bs that wasn't my fault as a child so I can't feel like ai could be responsible for something going wrong. (My childhood wasn't bad just that one aspect turned me into a coward)
