Now I know plenty of incels here have siblings, but I was wondering if there was any correlation or even causation between being an only child, and a higher dispensation of becoming an incel/virgin/social outcast later in life. I never had any siblings, and I can't shake the feeling that it has left me lacking of something in life. If you think about it, the entire concept of being an only child is relatively new. Families used to be massive, with four, five, six, seven... brothers and sisters, whereas now in the west, two or is the norm. But having no siblings at all is definitely not normal. For example I never learned the responsibility of being an older sibling, or got the caring of having an older sibling, or got the social practise of having a same age sibling. I think it is part of the reason I am so introverted, and why socialisation of any kind drains my energy rapidly.
I'd be interested to know just how many of you incels are also only childs, and how you think it has affected you. If you are not an only child, I'd be interested in how you think the experience of having siblings has shaped you.
