I just use the page down key at this point because it takes less effort

i just click my scroll wheel or use the scroll bar

Seeing that I have to move my hand from the mouse, where the scrollwheel is, to hit the page down button when I can just scroll with my finger like normally.

Get a browser with a vim key bindings extension. You can scroll up and down using [j] and [k] buttons - so you don't even have to move your hand to reach the page-up and page-down keys. Vim is the ultimate text editor for high-inhib and lazy computer people who spend all day in front of a screen.
