Avoiding entertainment with female protagonists, disliking entertainment solely because of the female characters, cringing at female humour and female "power" moments in shows, complaining about the inclusion of more female characters, etc. Especially with regards to "strong" female characters.

Cuck if you don’t avoid those tbh ngl

Sometimes. Female characters in some games tend to be interesting, like Undyne.

I just a couple of weeks ago started watching the BBC (?) production Dracula 2020. I was enjoying it and even managed to shrug off the female protagonist's oblique rebuke of Dracula that she was his worst nightmare, "an educated woman in a uniform" (or something like that). But in episode #3, after (of course) capturing Dracula, she goes on to taunt him. She haughtily announces to him that she is the director of the research facility where he's being kept. To his surprise (he'd been out of it for more than a century...), she disdainfully spits some crap about women's rights in his time. At that moment, I stopped watching the show. Sick of having it shoved down my throat everywhere all the time.

I hate when they appear on some tv show as serious, mature and quiet. While men are put as hysterical, childish and insecure. All the opposite.

Yeah I don't like female characters in TV shows. They're okay in Anime though usually, as long as the show isn't centered around them.

Women warriors are the number one favorite fantasy of man. It is a fantasy in the same way dragons and wizards are a fantasy, but women warriors are much more common than any other type of fantasy. Look at any piece of media you've consumed which involved action in some way. Chances are that that media included women fighting or women in some type of intense physical actions. If you've ever questioned why women warriors and women of action are everywhere in media, that's an incel trait.

I have legit stopped watching shows because the female power shit got too much for me. Halt and Catch Fire is a beautiful show, but the females kept getting too powerful and I have yet to finish it because I kept crining. It's sad because I really love the aesthetic of the show and the females were decent in the beginning. I hope the Witcher tones down the feminism in the second season. I have yet to finish the first season just because of time constraints, but I haven't liked the female power shit. I had no problem deducing that the show was being run by a female. The casting of homely foids who won't get objectified and the lines being shat out by the females are indicative of who is in power. I need to go to sleep soon, but I could spend the next 8 hours talking about cringy female power stuff.

Yup another one. That third episode was absolute shit. I swear to God I will never watch another Moffat helmed show ever again. He loves his subversions, quips, and lame conclusions he believes to be clever. Moffat also ruined Sherlock and Dr. Who with this female power shit. The Sherlock Christmas special was ridiculous. Murder is alright when females do it because muh feels. Watson's wife and the fourth season are also indicative of his feminist tendencies. River Song in Dr. Who is the second biggest Mary Sue in media after Rey.

What kills me is it's perfectly fine to show women OVER and OVER sadistically belittling, maiming, torturing, and killing men. That's not bigoted. Noooo. I'd be totally happy with female characters who HAPPENED to be strong characters b/c of their actions--have them earn our respect just like everyone else (for me, like Starbuck from BG). Stop TELLING ME I have to respect a character because of an irrelevant characteristic. And while they're at it, stop shoving romance where it doesn't contribute to the plot...

We should compile & publish a list of "safe" movies/shows/lit...

It's honestly annoying to keep being hit over the head with the same female power shit. That list isn't a bad idea and we can just think of it as an additional guide like IMDB's violence guide. There's no point wasting time if you will be hit with bullshit. I often find that female power aspects negatively affect the actual story lines of anyways.

Agreed. No matter how good the show is OTHERWISE, I've gotten to the point I can't and won't watch it after just a couple bombs. Like you mentioned The Witcher in another thread. I got up to the romance in episode 2, I think--and Cavil's mention of how he saved this beautiful princess from an "ugly, bald ogre" who, of course--classic formula, had kidnapped the princess to sexually molest her--and I checked out. Strike 1: another trite men-are-evil-sexual-predators byline. Strike 2: white knight must, of course, save the empowered, self-sufficient woman (Oh, wait...). Strike 3: another fking romance that ought to have nothing to do with an action adventure story.

If I had some artistic talent, I'd start writing novels and screenplays for people who think like us.

Yeah, I have great sensitivity to such things

Tbh I usually avoid a song if it has a foid.

I feel the same way man. It gets tiring to always experience this when I’m just trying to relax with some show

I agree, this is probably my only exception alongside anime

For the longest time I thought women were the "musical gender" until at some point I realized that 90% of the music I listen to came from male artist(s).

is supergirl a top series in your country?
it is in mine..dont understand how or why

I don’t care if it’s in anime or cartoons.
