Does anyone simrace here? What's your setup and favorite Sim? Just curious:feelzez:

PS5 with very bad stick drift to the left in my DualSense controller. No space for wheel etc. I play EA WRC and Dirt Rally 2.0. Should play the new game which name i forgot, light on content and only on PC. Should play the other, very old game, whose name i also forgot. with mods. Also Gran Turismo 7 or was it 8, i don't genuinely remember.

I tried to play the one motorbike game that was on PS Plus Extra (I think it left and I also don't have Extra any more), maybe Ride 6 or something, but i could not play that at all with this controller. it was impossible due to the stick drift in the left stick. But it is somewhat possible to play rally. And in Gran Turismo i don't even need the stick for steering! I play the PS4 version because I still have not paid the 10 euros required for PS5 version!

no-one here probably has worse setup than me. crashing my car due to the stick drift (i don't have the skills and tools to fix it, i have watched dozens of hours of videos on it)

There are even worse setups: some people play Dirt Rally on PC with keyboard. That is way worse control on the car than I have. Steering and acceleration and brakes always 0 % or 100 %

Also, my TV is small, old and not 4 k

Hello, nice to see more simracingcels.
I started getting into AC, ACC, and Iracing, but kinda stopped because I realised I need a rig (or at least a wheel stand) if I actually want to brake consistently

What's your wheel may I ask? I have simagic p700 pedals on the floor right now, I'd say I'm pretty consistent with breaking, but yeah rig makes a huge difference.

I have a g29 wheel and pedals. I heard simagic is fantastic though, what wheel are you running?

Moza r9, simagic p700 pedals and simagic gt neo wheel. Only used simagic wheelbase at simclub, yeah they're quite nice. You consider should getting direct drive man, that's like whole different lvl, many of entry-level bundles cost somewhat around g29 nowadays.

Also will probably help with breaking, as g29 pedals have pretty stupid design and not even a hall sensor. Moza sr-p lites worked great for me when I used them on the floor.

Dope setup ngl:smonk:
Yeah, Im debating on just getting the simlab gt1 pro or p1x ultimate - so if upgrade wheelbase and pedals in the future I'll already have a solid base.

Your setup is almost like what I want, an r9 wheel and the difference is p1000 cause i heared you can upgrade them to hydraulic and haptics later. But p700 are still fantastic.

Do you run a wheelstand?

Nah, just on the floor still, just moved in, probably going to by a rig soon, p700 have the wallstand so they're pretty stable. From what I've heard hydraulics on p1000 are not very good. They're probably the best pedals in their price range tho. If you want to try haptics you may try simsonn x pedals which are like 200$ cheaper and are probably the best for their value at the market right now.

Nice bro. Im still living with my parents rn, so im postponing buying a rig atm.

It would be so nice to have a place of my own, where I could set a rig and drive for hours without interuption.
