Its always been a part of TV shows and Movies, that unattractive guy who just can't get a girl to save his life, and the laugh track just goes on and on everytime he does or says something. Script usually involves him being made a fool of or being taken advantage of or pushed around.
The most recent example of this I've seen was in the show legends of tomorrow. That character being Gary. The first episode of season 4 is literally titled "The Virgin Gary".
Throughout the entire show they've been portraying him as the typical "nice guy loser" and making him the joke of the show, I already knew at some point they were going to hint or outright say he was a virgin, but to make it a SEASON PREMIERE and THE EPISODE TITLE. Now that is ridiculous.
To make it worse, I think they are going to double down and reveal he's gay, which wouldn't make much sense because getting laid as a gay guy is probably easier than getting laid as a woman tbh. They've already kind of been hinting at it for a while now.
Incel comic relief is even in fucking music now, like there's no escape.
For example, take Lil Dicky, no shit, that's the rappers name, his entire shtick is that he's a loser rapper, basically an incel rapper, and his rap name alludes to one of his shortcomings (if it wasn't obvious).
