I highly recommend to hit the gym brutally. First it will hurt but eventually you will enjoy the pain. You want to even experience more pain until you reach a state of enjoying pure agony. Your hands will start to bleed due to the weight you lift. Your body will produce dopamine. After the training you are low in blood sugar and therefore the intake of arginine will even produce more growth hormones. This is why we have to consume an entire bottle of arginine pills, 100 pills in total. We have to look like this:

I'd recommend setting up a home gym. You don't need outstanding equipment. Pull-ups, push-ups, and dips can build your whole upper body through your entire novice phase. Even beyond if you add weight or use harder variants. I recently swapped the dumbbell bench press for the one-armed push-up and absolutely do not regret it.

He'd have a bunch of saggy loose skin if he was morbidly obese. He'd need surgery just to look normal, and even then, there would still be something "off" about his physique.
