Games like Mass Effect, Fallout, Elder Scrolls and similars give you the possibility to choose what to do many times. Typically there's the good guy choice and then the evil/antihero choice, which do you choose and why?

Honestly I choose the good guy option most of the time, even if it's fiction and it's just pixels I feel bad for the characters kek. I tried making evil characters in RPG games but I never progress enough because it feels weird. If we're talking of a game like God of War (the classic ones) or GTA where your character is evil or morally questionable then I have no trouble being evil, but if it gives me the choice I prefer the good path.

Also some evil choices don't make sense, for example in New Vegas in the beginning you can side with the town that saved your life or with bandits who want to conquer such town. Who would choose option 2? The reward isn't even that good so not even a psychopath would do that.

I have more empathy for video game characters and NPCs than for real humans.

Always evil :feelsdevil:

Doing this now in Red Dead Redemption 2

Fuck, relatable. Playing as evil characters in games where you have the choice to play as good characters just feels fucking weird

Always evil. The schadenfraude kicking in feels so good. Fuck all normies

In Witcher 3 i generally picked the good choices but when i hated an enemy in a quest i would not be mercyful.

I can’t vote because I don’t play those games

I don't like the honor system in games at all. It's a useless mechanic that holds no value.
