If you want to understand how badly the steroid culture has destroyed men's chances in modern times, here is a screencap from an 80s movie I'm watching right now:
What do these two body types have in common? Both are slim. Neither takes that much work to maintain except not overeating and maybe exercising once or twice a week. Neither requires drugs or special diet.
But now only one of those body types is still acceptable - the woman's. For a man to now match her body type, he must be steroided into insanity like this:
If they made that movie again today, any guy you would see next to her would be closer to this type of roid monster than any normal man ought to look like.
For further ropefuel, I give you again the classic - Sean Connery as James Bond, back when he was considered one of the most attractive men on earth:

I think people today are so used to it no one even realizes how fucked up the ass we as men are all getting by Hollywood and these insane expectations.
It's simply no longer enough to be a normal healthy man.
