Right now the worst you see is shanty tent towns and homeless of Seattle and San Francisco. The police leave everyone alone so they defecate on the street and shoot up. Authorities are complicit in it for now as regular people get fed up and slowly leave. The way the west deals with the 20% that have nothing to lose is always the same - ridicule, drugs, confiscation of guns and censorship. In most countries men are already neutered so they can't fight back in any meaningful way. Another reason the 20% can't fight back is because they are dependent on the government for welfare payments. As the tax base erodes the government will have to figure out how to stay solvent.

We're headed there if there's no collapse soon.
