In my area the police and ambulances are like 20x more common yet they still act like kings of the road

I'm in south east England. Sooooo many police, ambulances and fire engines.

I mean... I don't mind THAT much. It's kind of entertaining. But

a) it must be costing the taxpayer loads

b) the sirens are noisy

c) they still act like everyone should treat them like they're important and it's always a big emergency.

How can there possibly be like 20x more emergencies than in 2019...

If you're one of 500 police cars or ambulances... you're not special anymore.

If they want these vehicles to feel special again they need to stop packing the roads with them and start acting normally again.
