It would help a great deal. The 50/50 ratio is a complete joke that massively advantages females. I'm in support of using eugenics to shift the gender ratio to about 10 women for every 1 male. This is what women want anyways, they want 90% of men to disappear, so lets just go ahead and do it. Just abort or use in vitro to ensure only 1 out of every 10 males is born. Yeah maybe there will still be a few incels, but at least you won't be competing with 90% of men anymore.
In that scenario, harems would not work because frankly at that point 100 women is way too many to deal with. As a matter of fact I suspect there would be a lot of foids that would get absolutely nothing as far as safety, security, resources, basic needs. So most women would probably cling to any man that they could just to get their basic needs met. That ratio is not even plausible tbh.
