I also want to clarify that 50 years would be my most optimistic guess, it could take way longer than that. Proper sex robots could very well only come about in a couple hundred years from now. It depends on what kind of robot girlfriend it would be too of course. I don't know what would take longer, a Brain Computer Interface girlfriend or a genuine robot girlfriend.
