There's tons of lucky, young crypto dorks who got in the crypto ponzi scheme early enough to make money. There is a hidden niche of druggie techies with tons of money and all the time in the world to party with it cause of stupid crypto. The rest of us have to wageslavery. The big issue is that cost of living has increased drastically compared to wages. At least in the past, you could easily work any shitty manufacturing job, be able to buy a house with that money, have enough spare spending cash for fun things, have good work/balance, take a small vacation every year, and have a pension for you when you retire. Companies used to treat their employees better in regards to pay and benefits. Now, you get shit on by a shitty boss, and only have enough money to live paycheck to paycheck.
