Maybe for the ugliest of truecels this wouldn't work, maybe it would. But a lot of you are passable and this would be a great system.
Nowadays "dating" is an extremely degenerate minefield. People will "dump" you for any number of reasons. People will "play you". People will "use" you. Some people travel the country to meet a spouse. Some people rely on the Internet to find a spouse. It's all so convoluted and difficult.
Imagine how much better things would be if you simply married in your teen years to some you knew from high school or the local community AS HAS BEEN DONE FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS THROUGHOUT HUMAN HISTORY.
I mean seriously. Imagine how much easier finding love would be. Imagine how much more wholesome finding love would be. No more sifting through 8 partners in 7 different states just to "settle" for partner #9. No more waiting years and years for "the right one". Just get married to your neighbor's daughter AS HAS BEEN DONE FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS THROUGHOUT HUMAN HISTORY.
This is how things should still be done. With more of a community feel to it.
