The majority of people cannot think critically. They do not plan ahead when they do something. They do not consider the consequences. They follow their desires with 0 constraints and damage themselves while doing so.
Everything must be spoon-fed to them. They are not capable of having their own complex beliefs or ideologies. They have to be programmed how to behave and what to believe.
Thus oftentimes they'll come off as moronic hypocrites with 0 consistency. They've never actually questioned or thought about what they believe in. They've never asked why certain rules are in place.
They follow the herd without question. The only time they'll question something is if it goes against their biological instincts. Let's say an attractive man or a toilet is being punished for their crimes. Suddenly they'll question the dogma. Suddenly they're "thinking for themselves."
