It's interesting how feminised and female orientated popular music has become in the 21st century. Look back at rock music from the late 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s. The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, etc... actually had very aggressively sexual lyrics and a relatively complex blues-based melody with an aggressive timbre. Not endorsing this music or saying that it's not degenerate but I think that it's an interesting turn.
