tfw you see them physically close to each other because they’re couples, to me that alone is an insult even if they’re not holding hands but yeah to see that is brutal. i remember resting at this green joy path and with no warning saw an asian couple tightly holding hands walk by me, my face turned to stone. there are two obvious contrasting types of characters in minoru furuya’s works, the ugly/average stoic ricecel having no outward reaction to when that happens or the ugly ricecel going “fuuuuuuuuccckking faaaaaaaaag” every time it does. this is me after the rest of my body follows absorbing the impact

PDAs piss me off
I went for a ride on my scooter down a path overlooking the beach/water this morning. There was a couple about 30m out in the water holding onto each other, with the women facing away from the man and the man holding her waist from behind her. They were in my spot, I had to end up going down the beach further to get away from them. Public affection at that level should be a crime.
