Soon after, an owner showed up (young woman, brunette with a resting shit face) calling her pets name.
I said "What a nice doggy, so cute." I looked into owners eyes and with a smug grin I added "Unlike the owner".
She gave me a standard "I spotted an inkwell" disgusted look, took her dog by its collar and walked away without a word.
