It's been a week since I graduated from highschool and I just had a reality check. I'm a grown man living under my parents doing nothing. I can't keep rotting on this forum everyday. I need to start doing something productive and pick up a skill.

Something I want to get into is scripting in Roblox. I actually tried to learn scripting late 2024 for a few months, but then I dropped it because I couldn't handle the mental toll of switching from school to homework to learning. On top of that, I wasn't in the right mind because I was thinking about suicide everyday.

But now, it's different. I don't have to face the constant anxiety of going to school anymore and I'm free all day. I also don't think about killing myself anymore as I used to.

So yeah, I'm not going to be as active as I used to in this forum.

It depends on the game and how successful it is. Some devs became millionaires, while others could barely make $100 per month.

Me personally, I kinda don't care about the money. I want to get into Roblox development because it's something I'm passionate about.

Solid idea. With help from ChatGPT you no longer need to know coding in order to make them. You can also produce 3D assets with AI. And you can make a surprising amount of money building these games:
